ONLY 2 more weeks till Im on the plane to Vegas! Its honestly never enough time but wow, is it dragging. I am so wiped out/exhausted. Ive been battling some pretty heavy nausea for about 10 days. Like I dont feel crappy enough. I had some major nausea when we got out to Columbus this year and couldnt really eat much. Its pretty much the same thing right just much sooner. For how much I eat I should be coming in a lot harder. Im fighting that big butt syndrome and a couple nagging injuries. The drier and leaner I get the more aggravated they get. I feel like the tin man needing an oil lube to the joints. Having the stepmill at home this go has been such a blessing. I looooove my gym and the members but when you start getting close you just dont want to say HI to every single person you see!!! Its so exhausting. Im usually done before I get started if I dont hide in the office. LOL Everyone is sweet and they just want to be involved, I get it. Nor do they have any idea what you are feeling so what a do? Luckily I dont really have to work the rest of the way in but I will be swamped when I get home. I laugh when I hear people say they want to own a gym or that is a dream. Its soooooo much work!!! Sometimes I hate it and feel Ive been cursed. LOL I think especially as a pro bb you kinda lose that place to go and get away and train cause now its also where you work. It can definitely be challenging. Phil was in this weekend shooting with Flex which is awesome but it really reminds me how much the woman dont really matter and its disheartening. I let it really bother me last year but this year I just tried to take it in stride for what it is. Phil is a good friend and Im very proud of him so I can see the best in it. Im not the typical bodybuilder that is so ME ME ME(no offense all.. but that is annoying) I just wish the woman got more love. At the same time I realize that the industry has been pretty good for me. I have an AWESOME husband.. who I met cause of bb, I own half of a pretty great gym, I have some wonderful friends, and I have gotten to experience the highest levels of competition. Not too bad. :) As long as I can keep away from the carbs I may have a good time in Vegas too. I will be crushed if I dont place high enough. Its kinda cool that there 3 of us going from the same gym. I'm wearing some daring colors this show.. IMO. Im usually so careful and conservative, ironic. I am headed to the doc today though cause my allergies are just a little too much to handle and I have some discomfort in my throat and glands. Hopefully nothing major. :)
